I want to make an arrangement
A music author who wants to use a work created by another author in his work must obtain
permission from the author/authors of the original work on the transformation of the work – the arrangement.
The author's permission is required to arrange, retell, film, dramatize, or otherwise modify the author's work.
The author of the original work shall always be entitled to a portion of the royalties paid by the users for the use of the modified work .
As a rule, authors reserve the right to authorise or prohibit the transformation of their works for themselves rather than entrusting it to a collecting society.
Therefore, if the author wishes to arrange the work of a composer, the consent of the composer and the author of the text, or the heirs or other representatives of the composer and the author of the text must be obtained.
