Introduction

For the purpose of broadcasting, retransmission and demonstration of all kinds of authors’ works over TV, radio and cable TV a licence agreement must be concluded with AKKA/LAA.

The licences:

 

  • For broadcasting of authors' works on radio and TV;
  • For retransmission of authors' works via cable TV;
  • For placement of authors’ works on Internet radio and TV.

 

 

The Copyright Act stipulates: the licence shall be obtained prior to usage of works. It is prohibited to use works without permission.
